Partners in Democracy

The Hamilton County Board of Elections (BOE) is looking to build partnerships with local public and private entities to assist in providing a skilled workforce at polling locations around Hamilton County on Election Day.

Poll workers are needed in every election, and we hope you’ll consider partnering with us to provide encouragement and incentives to your employees to serve our democratic processes.

WHAT we are asking your organization:

To be a Partner in Democracy (PID) with the BOE by making information available to your employees about working the polls. Employers and agencies may choose to provide additional incentives to their workforce, like working Election Day while receiving their daily compensation plus the Board’s compensation for working the polls ($225.00 base), and/or earning a personal day!

HOW do you sign up:

  1. If you are an employer or agency, complete the linked to PID application packet below.
  2. Have your employees complete the individual, online application below by clicking the red APPLY NOW box. We’ll take it from there!

Complete the PID application and read the informational pages included.  Please mail the application to our office at 4700 Smith Road, Cincinnati, OH 45212, C/O Kyle Dallman, Olivia Jacob, Partners in Democracy.
