Hamilton County Agencies Team Up For COVID-19 Vaccination
Board of Elections Provides Centralized Location for Public Health Vaccination Clinics
HAMILTON COUNTY, OH – In partnership with The Hamilton County Board of Elections, Hamilton County Public Health (HCPH) will move its main COVID-19 vaccine clinic to the Hamilton County Board of Elections Early Vote Center, beginning Friday, January 22. The Board of Elections will provide a centralized location for vaccine administration.
“We are more than happy to provide a convenient vaccination site, “says Sherry Poland, Director of Elections. “The Board of Elections is centrally located with free public parking and accessible through a number of bus routes.
“The space also allows us to efficiently administer vaccines, with ample room to move people through, while providing enough space for people to remain following their vaccine to check for vaccine tolerance”, says Hamilton County Public Health Commissioner Greg Kesterman. “We are tremendously appreciative that the Board of Elections is providing this space for us and the residents of Hamilton County to more efficiently receive vaccine.”
Vaccination will be conducted at the Board of Election’s Early Vote Center at 2300 Wall Street in Norwood, which is located on the agency’s campus. Vaccines are available by appointment only. Hamilton County Public Health will contact those eligible for vaccine to schedule an appointment. Please do not go to the Board of Elections without an appointment. For more information, call the Hamilton County Public Health Department at (513) 946-7800 or visit HCPH.org.
HCPH will also bring vaccination sites to communities to ensure availability and access for all who want the vaccine.
