The Hamilton County Board of Elections (BOE) anticipates a large voter turnout for the upcoming
Election. We will need additional support from election night employees to make it a successful election for the voters of Hamilton County.

Election Night Worker Job Description:

Report to the Board of Elections at 8:00 p.m. on Election Night (November 3rd, 2026). Assignments & instructions are delivered upon signing in. Most assignments include checking in supplies or gathering materials. Work will conclude at approximately 10:30 p.m. This job involves lifting (up to 40 lbs.).

Early Pickup Guard:

Arrive at the Board of Elections at 6:15 p.m. on Election Night (November 3rd, 2026) for instruction. A Driver & Passenger (of opposite parties) will go out together in the Driver's car to pick up equipment from several polling locations & return it to the Board of Elections. When you have returned you will report to the Board of Elections Warehouse for another assignment. Work concludes around 10:30 p.m. This job involves lifting (up to 40 lbs.).

Truck Commander and Ballot Guard:

Arrive at the Board of Elections at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31st, 2026 for instruction. You will travel with the Truck Commander or the Ballot Guard of the opposite political party in a box truck and deliver Election supplies to a designated distribution site in Hamilton County, where Poll Workers will pick up supplies needed for Election Day. Supplies are picked up between 9:00 a.m. & noon. The truck and any remaining supplies are returned to the Board of Elections. On Election Day (November 3rd, 2026) you will report to the Board at 6:15 p.m. and meet your Truck Commander or Ballot Guard and return to the place you distributed supplies on Saturday. The Poll Workers will return the supplies between 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., After all supplies are returned, you will return those supplies to the Board. Work will conclude somewhere around 9:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Most of this assignment is outside. This job involves lifting (up to 40 lbs.).

Truck Supply Worker:

Report to your assigned distribution site within Hamilton County at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 31st, 2026. Under the direction of the Truck Commander and Ballot Guard you will distribute the supplies needed for Election Day to Poll Workers and assist Poll Workers with loading supplies in their car. Work is done when all supplies are picked up or no later than noon. On Election Day (November 3rd, 2026) you will report to the Board at 7:30 p.m. and return to the place you distributed supplies on Saturday to wait for the Poll Workers to bring back items that need to be returned to the Board Warehouse. This will conclude sometime around 9:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Most of this assignment is outside. This job involves lifting (up to 40 lbs.).
