Democracy on the Docks

Fundraising program designed for groups & organizations wanting to become involved in the local democratic process by working in the warehouse at the Board of Elections on election night. The pay would be donated to a charitable organization of that group/organization’s choosing.

 

Requirements

  • Be 17 years of Age or older
  • If 18 or older, must be a registered voter in Hamilton County, Ohio
  • Be able to comfortably lift 30 pounds
  • Have transportation to and from the Board of Elections
  • Non-profit/Organization must be registered as a Hamilton County Vendor
  • Be able to work Tuesday, November 3rd, from 7:30pm to approximately 11pm

What to Expect

  • Reach out to one of our contacts and express your interest in joining the program.
  • Ensure your non-profit/organization is registered as a Hamilton County Vendor. Vendor form can be found in the program information packet linked below.
  • Have everyone from your non-profit/organization fill out the Payment Designation form, found in the information packet below.
  • Show up with your non-profit/organization on election night and help our democratic process run smoothly!
  • 3-4 weeks after election day, your chosen charitable organization will receive a check with your groups donation.
