How to Obtain an ID from the Ohio BMV
Starting April 7, 2023, Ohioans who are 17 years and older can receive an ID card at no cost. For more information on how to get an ID, click the button below to visit the Ohio BMV website:
Forms of ID That are NOT Acceptable:
- Driver License from another State
- Utility Bill, Bank Statement, Government Check, Payroll Check, Government Document, Concealed Carry Permit
- Social Security card
- Ohio “Mobile” ID
- Non-Renewable/Non-Transferable ID
- Official mail or notice from the Board of Elections
- MARCC ID (Metropolitan Area Religious Coalition of Cincinnati)
- Expired ID
Voters who do not present acceptable ID must vote provisionally.
