Hamilton County Set to Kick Off Early Voting in 2024 Presidential Primary

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio - There will be a Presidential Primary Election on March 19th, 2024 with Early Voting beginning on Wednesday, February 21st.

There is still time to register to vote or to update a change of name or address for the Primary. The deadline to register or update is Tuesday February 20, 2024. The Board of Elections will be open until 9:00PM on the 20th to receive paper registration forms. Voters can also register or update their address online until 11:59PM. Check your registration status on our website, register or update your registration online, or appear in person at the Board of Elections office, public library, or BMV.

There are three ways to cast your ballot in the March 19th Primary Election:

  1. Voters may submit an application for a Vote by Mail ballot now. Ballots will be mailed beginning February 21st. Applications may be downloaded from our website or requested by calling the Board of Elections at 513-632-7000. The deadline to apply is March 12th - the BOE will be open that day until 8:30pm.
  2. Early In-Person Voting, at the Board of Elections, begins on Wednesday, February 21st. A complete listing of early voting days/hours is attached and available on our website.

The eastbound lanes of the Norwood Lateral will be closed for construction beginning March 11th. Early voters should plan their travel route to the Board of Elections ahead of time. See email attachments for road closure details.

  1. Election Day Voting will take place from 6:30am – 7:30pm on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024. You can find your polling location on our website. Please note: There have been some changes in polling locations for the upcoming election. If your polling location has changed, you will receive a post card mailer from the BOE that will include your correct polling location for this election.
