Early Voting Begins for August 2nd Primary Election
HAMILTON COUNTY - There will be a primary election on August 2nd, 2022 with early voting starting on Wednesday, July 6. August Primary voters will be voting on races for State Representative, State Senate, and State Central Committee.
There is still time to register to vote or update a change of address or name for the August 2nd, 2022 Primary Election. The deadline to register is Tuesday, July 5, 2022. The Board of Elections will be open until 9:00PM that evening to receive paper registration forms. Voters can also register or update their address online until 11:59PM. Check your registration status on our website, register or update your registration online, or appear in person at the Board of Elections Office, public library, or BMV.
There are three ways to cast your ballot in the August 2nd Primary:
1. Vote by Mail
2. Early In-Person voting at the Board of Elections Early Vote Center (rear 4700 Smith Rd.)
3.In-Person Voting on Election Day at your Polling Location
“Every election is important, and this August Election is no exception. Find your sample ballot on our website and make a plan to vote early, vote by mail, or in person on August 2nd,” Sherry Poland, Director, urges. Find your sample ballot on our website.
Voters may submit an application for a vote by mail ballot now. Ballots will be mailed beginning July 6th. Applications may be downloaded from our website or requested by calling the Board of Elections 513-632-7000.
Early In-Person Voting at the Board of Elections Office begins on Wednesday, July 6th. A complete listing of early voting days/hours is attached and available on our website.
Election Day Voting will take place from 6:30am – 7:30pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. You can find your polling location on our website.
Please note: There have been several changes in polling locations for the upcoming election. You will receive a notice in the mail if your polling location has changed. Confirm your polling location here.
