           Election Day Poll Workers Needed for the November 4th General Election

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio – The Hamilton County Board of Elections is seeking registered voters to work as Election Day poll workers for the November 4th General Election.

Poll workers earn $225+ for their training, set-up, and working the polls on Election Day. If you are a registered voter or a high school student aged 17+ and are interested in becoming a poll worker for the November 4th General Election, head to our website and apply today!” said Sherry Poland, Director.

To be a poll worker, one must:

  • Be a registered and active voter in Hamilton County
  • Be a United States citizen
  • Be comfortable using electronic technology
  • Be able to read, write and speak fluently in the English language
  • NOT be a candidate for any office to be voted on at the polling place at that election
  • NOT be a convicted felon

We offer a variety of special recruitment programs for military veterans, attorneys, high school students, and Hamilton County government employees.  In addition, the Devoted to Service program invites local non-profit organizations to raise funds when their volunteers work the polls,” said Raquel Burgos, Deputy Director. “Learn more at VoteHamiltonCountyOhio.gov. For the November 4th county-wide election, poll workers are especially needed in the following areas:

Registered Republicans in:

  • Springfield Township
  • Columbia Township
  • Blue Ash
  • Forest Park
  • Lincoln Heights
  • Indian Hill
  • Pleasant Ridge
  • Mt. Airy
  • Spring Grove Village
  • Northside

Registered Democrats in:

•  Cleves

•  Miami Township

•  Harrison (non-affiliated voters needed too)
