TODAY IS NATIONAL VOTER REGISTRATION DAY!

Hamilton County, OH – TODAY is a great day to register to vote or update your address and/or name for the November 4, 2025 General Election. The deadline for voters to register or update their voter information for the November 4, 2025 election is Monday, October 6, 2025. Voters need to update their information if they have changed their name or moved into or within Ohio.

Voters must register and vote where they currently live,” says Director Sherry Poland. “If you have moved or changed your name since you last voted, it is easy and essential to update your registration before the October 6th deadline.”

Voter Registration/Information Update Forms (sample attached) are available at the Board of Elections office in Norwood (4700 Smith Road), at local libraries, and BMV offices. You can also call the Board (513-946-8500) to have one mailed to you. Ohio residents also have the option to register or update their information online at voteohio.gov. 17-year-olds who will be 18 by November 4, 2025, can also register and vote in the November election.

Want to know what will be on the ballot in November? Voters can view their sample ballot on the Board’s website starting September 19th.

“Save time and hassle at the polls by checking your voter registration today. There’s no better day to do it than National Voter Registration Day!” adds Deputy Director Raquel Burgos.

Once registered, voters may choose one of three ways to vote:

  1. Absentee Vote by Mail begins October 7, 2025. Download an application from the Board’s website (VoteHamiltonCountyOhio.gov) or call to have one mailed to you.
  2. Early In-Person Voting at the Board of Elections begins October 7, 2025. Visit the Board’s website for a complete list of Early In-Person Voting days and hours (see Election Calendar attached).
  3. Vote in person on Election Day at your neighborhood polling location: Polls will be open from 6:30 am – 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Find your polling location on the Board’s website.
