TOMORROW IS ELECTION DAY IN HAMILTON COUNTY

Hamilton County, OH – Polls will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, for the March 19 Presidential Primary Election from 6:30 am until 7:30 pm. A new Ohio Law requires that voters present a valid photo ID when voting in person so make sure you know the requirements before coming out to vote. Visit the Board of Elections website at www.votehamiltoncountyohio.gov to view a list of the acceptable forms of ID and to find your Election Day polling place.

The March 19th Presidential Primary is when political parties pick their ‘team’ to run in the November Presidential General Election. When voting in the Primary, voters will select their party ballot, Democrat or Republican – and some precincts will also have the option to pick an “issues only” ballot.  Voters can visit the Board’s website to confirm their polling location and they can also view a sample ballot before heading to the polls,” says Director Sherry Poland.

Early Voting ended on Sunday. There is no in-person voting at the Board of Elections today.

Only voters who have moved out of their precinct and have not yet updated their new address with the Board of Elections may vote at the Board office tomorrow. All others must vote at their assigned polling location.

If you have not yet returned your voted absentee Vote by Mail ballot, you have until 7:30pm on Election Day to return it in person to the Board of Elections,” adds Deputy Director Alex Linser. “We have a convenient and secure 24-hour drive-through drop box at 4700 Smith Road in Norwood.

Voted ballots being returned by mail must be postmarked no later than today, Monday, March 18, 2024 and must be received at the Board by Saturday, March 23rd.

Once the polls close at 7:30pm, voters can track Election Results live on our website, votehamiltoncountyohio.gov.
